Foundations for the Future Enrollment
Financial Aid Program
The goal of the Foundations for the Future Financial Aid program is to assist families in paying tuition for our Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary programs. We are currently offering 2 programs:
- Helping Hands Scholarships
The Helping Hand Scholarship is funded through regular tuition. The goal of the scholarship program is to assist families in need with a partial tuition scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Financial need must be shown.
- Student must register and be accepted into Foundations for the Future, or be current students.
- Apogee School Choice Scholarships
The Apogee School Choice Scholarship is funded solely by donations through the Georgia Education Tuition Tax Credit Program. (Because it is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, and it offers savings on federal taxes, we encourage all our families to participate, including those interested in receiving a scholarship for their child.) These partial scholarships are primarily directed to students who have a primary caregiver employed in a community service position (teachers, military, police, firefighters, etc).
Eligibility Criteria:
- The student must be eligible for Pre-K (must be 4 years old by September 1st of school year) or Kindergarten (must be 5 years old by September 1st of school year) OR
- For students entering grades 1-12, student must be currently attending a Georgia public school, or have attended Georgia public school as their last school attended.
Procedures
- Enroll your child at Foundations by going through the enrollment process, including paying the appropriate enrollment fee.

- Complete the SSS Financial Aid Application online at https://sss.ets.org. Foundations for the Future School Code is 5121. The cost to process this application is $22. (The completion of the financial assistance application is NOT an agreement that assistance is available or will be granted.)
- The Foundations Financial Aid Committee will determine the eligibility of need and the amount of the grant. If applying for the Apogee School Choice Scholarship, the Apogee Financial Aid Committee will also review the application.
- If a scholarship is not awarded and the student is unable to attend due to financial difficulties, all but the $22 application fee will be refunded upon receiving a written withdrawal. This deposit will only be refunded if the request for withdrawal is received, in writing, within 10 days of receiving the notification of scholarship.
